過去に他のオンライン英会話をやっていた頃も、
フリートークは何かのトピックについて永遠と自身の意見・考えを話すような感じがして、
レベルが高くて手を出したことがなかったです。
しかし、自身の体験した経験・世間話などが英語で言えたら、
私が目指している日常英会話ができるのでは？と、思いフリートークを受講したので、紹介します。

フリートークのトピック準備
自身が体験したことを日本語で文章にして、Google翻訳でそのまま英語に変換しました。
翻訳をかけてみて、メリット・デメリットに感じたこと。
メリット
- 日本語で文章を作ることで、詳細に思いを伝えることができます。
- 自動翻訳を使っているので、英文を作る時間が短縮されます。
デメリット
- 日本語は『I』で始まっていないので、すべての文の主語を見直す必要がある。
- 機械で翻訳しているので、自然な生きた英語になっていない可能性がある。
デメリットの２つ目は、私は普段から英語を使った生活をしていないので、
考えて調べてもなかなか自然な言葉をチョイスできないと思います。
なので、ネイティブキャンプの講師に自動翻訳した文（自身で主語だけ直した）を伝えてみて、
おかしなニュアンスの英語・死語・機械的な言葉を直してもらうことにしました。
私は、自身の結婚式の思い出をトピックにしました。日付は除いてます。
ハワイのアラモアナショッピングモール近くにあるプリンスワイキキで結婚式を上げました。
ハワイ語で「喜びの空」を意味する「ラニレア チャペル」。
地上100ｍの高さにある天空の豪華なチャペルを貸し切りで使え、人生で一番最高なときを経験することができました。
ワイマナロビーチ、ホテルのインフィニティプールで写真撮影をしました。しっかりした服装でビーチやプールで写真を撮ったことがなかったので嬉しいけど変な気分でした。
生まれて初めてリムジンに乗り、ワイマナロビーチまで車で行き来したのですが、一番後ろの席に乗っていたため、とても揺れ気持ちが悪くなってしまいました。
妻の方がウエディングドレスで締め付けが強かったので、体調がなかなか回復せず、式の前に写真撮影をしたため、式の時間に間に合わないかもしれず、ひやひやしました。
プリンスワイキキホテルに滞在しましたが、部屋から見えるヨットハーバーはまるで絵画のようでした。

今回自身がやりたかったことができた気がします。
大幅に変えてもらった箇所もありましたが、
より自然で生きた英語に直してもらえたので、英語で思い出を語れるようになりました。
おわりに
やり取りしながら文章を作っていったので、１コマ（25分）をまるまる使ってしまいました。
ネイティブキャンプは１日の回数が無制限なので、その日にまた他の教材を使ってレッスンを取れるのが嬉しいポイントですね。
